Road Signs Warn of Zombies

Austin drivers commuting to work discovered that two road signs on a busy stretch of road were changed to warn them of imminent zombie attacks.

The signs near the intersection of Lamar and Martin Luther King boulevards are usually wasted on construction warnings, but on Monday morning they pointed out the truly useful fact that zombies are coming and that the best course of action is to, according to the signs, “run.”

Zombies Are the New Vampires

For the past few years, harmless little vampires have been the most popular monster, probably because of that one book.

But now zombies are coming into their own as people realize that the living dead are poised to rise up and conquer us all.

Woody Harrelson Thinks Photographer Is Zombie

On a completed unrelated note, Woody Harrelson is big proponent of legalized marijuana.

Zombies Are Liberals?

A writer claims that zombie movies are inherently liberal.

When the apocalypse comes and capitalism breaks down, he writes, a band of survivors has to come together and act for the collective good “if they’re going to get out of this with their brains kept securely housed in their skulls.”

This may explain why zombies are such strong proponents of a public option for health care reform and oppose the flat tax.

Humans vs. Zombies on Campus

The game Humans vs. Zombies — an elaborate adult version of tag where one person playing a zombie converts other students by tagging them — is causing newspaper writers to use an inordinate number of puns, saying the game has “invaded” college campuses and that the game is “infectious.”

Students say HvZ is a healthy way to keep them away from drinking because that’s what students always say when they want reporters to leave them alone.
